The wedding dress of Miss World 2000
Priyanka Chopra is one of Bollywood’s best-paid actresses. She won the Miss World contest in 2000 and produced more than 50 films in India.
Last week, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas were married not at one, but two major ceremonies at the Umaid Bhawan Indian Palace.
We can now admire her beautiful wedding outfits! She decided to wear Sabyasachi’s red lehenga for her traditional Indian wedding. The design included French silk knots, “siam red” crystals and intricate hand embroidery. According to the brand, it took 3,320 hours and 110 embroiderers to create. Jonah wore a golden silk sherwani, a hand-embroidered dupatta chikan, and a safa in chanderi fabric.
For the second ceremony, Chopra presented her Ralph Lauren white western wedding dress. It was composed of two pieces: a long dress with scalloped sleeves with high neckline, hand beaded and hand embroidered with floral motifs and parades, sequins of pearls and Swarovski crystals, and a strapless column gown with 2,380,000 nacre glitter on the veil.
